Au contraire! Not only would it get him out of SEC West, but it would put him in a state whose primary NFL team he mangled (or mangled even further), and he would have the huge fanbases of 2 of the most dominant SEC teams hating him for the rest of his career. All this would cause him to do what Meyer did in about 3 years--quit to save his health.

Let Nick take over there so that UF becomes awesome again. Then Bama will get the next best thing out there and remain good. This was it just increases how hard it makes things for LSU...

And miss the chance to beat him twice a year? Teri's looking for a house in Gaineville.

Saban isn't going anywhere. He is the highest paid coach in America. The rumors that Mullins is the choice are troubling. He could maintain the level of the program.

remains to be seen if he can recruit anywhere on Meyer's level, who brought in one of the best recruiting classes in memory last yr. Whoever they hire will be good, but it'll be a step back regardless overall

yeah, Mullen only helped Meyer recruit guys like Tim Tebow, Cam Newton...etc...

Gene Chizik is borderline retarded and he got recruits...how bout Les Miles?

helped, but it's not a comparison b/n the two. Meyer is one of the two best recruiters in the nation. Mullen help him bring in last yr's class?

Nick would never leave Bama... EVER!

I don't think rivals want to see Harbaugh, Stoops, Patterson or Peterson.

I think that would be a very positive thing for us. Saban in the East is much better than Saban in the West.
