I'm just making the point that our fanbase is so assumptive its hilarious. Aranda won't be a HC next year, but he prob will get a shot the following year. How good of a HC he will be will completely rest on how good of a recruiter he is so I find it funny that some of the desperate posters on this board all but want to give him our HC job out of fear of losing him. Laughable

This is nonsense. Being a great recruiter is a cherry on top of a sundae. Some of the most successful head coaches (Steve Spurrier, Chip Kelly) in recent history were fairly indifferent recruiters.

Would I prefer a head coach to be a great recruiter? Absolutely. Does it determine success? Absolutely not.
