LoL, you act like this will be paid out over 1 year. EdO's deal is over 4 years, so roughly $4M per. Jimbo could be in the $10M per range, so that brings us to $14M. Staff will be offered lower buyouts or structured buyouts, and most have only 1 year left.. Plus, some of the buyout hit was absorbed by boosters, so they won't even factor in going forward.

Woodward raised $34 million in cash/pledges to finance this deal. That would cover O's and staff's buyouts plus any buyout our new HC might have.

Contrary to the internet, LSUAD is NOT in the hole.

It's crazy how this comes up all the time, and how people within our own conference doesn't realize that LSU has one of the wealthiest athletic programs in the nation.
