Are you serious? You took 10 years of his defenses as HC with 5 #1 and 1 #2 finish and pick the only season they finished lower than LSU did this season?
I'll take #1/#2 defense half the time, Top 15-40 40% of the time and one season of 99 every decade.

LSU fans want a coach who recruits great talent and uses it accordingly to get W's. it's not a complicated job.

Didn't say he can't. Just think he prefers not to coach the prima donna type athletes.
