i think met would def come with leach but also i think Lee can run leach's o. I hope bp is right on les wanting him. I really hope leach wants to come but i just dont see les keeping his hands off the o and that will be the deal killer.

and why is that? serious question.
im guess because leach and miles styles of what they want on o are not close at all. Also miles likes to touch things he shouldn't. I dont see leach going for les putting his child like hands on his offense. I dont see les doing what he should do and just being a ceo. He can't coach d so he has to tinker with o if leach comes in les can't do that.

Well this is certainly ONE way to give the ESPN sportscaster crew the finger.

I agree, honestly I don't see it as a good fit, but who am I to say :)

Now I have no clue if Leach is interested in the job, but I hear Miles is going to find out.

My God I think that would be a horrible fit but Im not the head coach so ok

jesus you people are infuriatingly moronic. A season you predicted to be 7-5 or 8-4 turns into 10-2, with the losses to the #1 and (now) #7 ranked teams and you're pissing and moaning that it's a "what could have been" season because the coaches fricked it up. Get a life. Get a brain.

Leach is a bit of a big "Ego-Guy"...

...and he would NOT like Les changing his plays !!

..but if Leach understands his role then would be an improvement over Crowton !!

les should understand his role and let the guy that knows how to run a offense do that with out him changing plays.

les needs to realize he is a ceo type coach. he might as well be joe pa or bobby bowden in his later years.

I certainly think there are other OC's out there who could do as well or better than Leach, with less turmoil. However, Leach has a proven record with calling plays, but none of which has ever centered around a power running game which LSU has already in it's rb's as well as the two incoming recruits.

I just think miles/leach will be like oil/water.

im trying to not get my hopes on it bc id love for leach to be here i just dont see it. bp saying they aren't a good fit makes sense.

i will be very surprised and happy with les miles if he can just give the keys to our offense to leach and not touch anything other than recruiting guys leach needs.

to had to my earlier list of why they wouldn't get along id bet leach wants his oline coach and not stud the dud. I dont think les wants make his bbq buddy walk the plank.

Yes LSU will hire a guy who has
1. Sued his employer
2. Over stepped his authority
3. Embarrassed his school

Pokey Chatman ring a bell? The Leach to LSU is I can't explain how ignorant that is.
