I'm hearing if Sumlin loses 2 of last 3 then Miles/Cameron will be hired, Chavis retained, Larry Porter brought in as recruiting coordinator.

A few different people who claim to have sources on here have said it is Jimbo's job if he wants it.

Jimbeaux

Bob Stoops would be my second pick, I think he's ready for another challenge.

I have a sinking feeling that if we have a 3-0 finish, it's going to be Orgeron...

If we drop one, let it be to Arkie. I cannot stand the thought of losing to f.u. or a+m. I think an Arkie loss would probably go ahead and get the paperwork in order for Jimbo.

But, I never pull for LSU to lose. Just saying....

Nothing has changed since the week before we fired Miles

Proven head coaches have been responding to our inquiries. O was being pumped up, just to keep the wins coming, and the fans engaged

After Thanksgiving we will zero in on 'the one'

I can see them keeping O if they don't find anyone, but I think they keep him as Interim HC so he has a full Spring, Summer and full season as a "tryout" to earn the job.

I wouldn't mind that ONLY IF we can't get one of our top 3 choices.

I think we all want him to stay, just not as the HC. His recruiting ties are incredible around here. I'd pay him as the top Dline coach and throw a convincing amount at Pete Jenkins to stay as Asst Dline coach.

What kind of frickery is this? Basically a 15 month "interem" coaching position? Yeah, that doesn't have any built in issues.

You know we don't have unlimited number of coaches we can have on staff, right?

If you are paying that much of a buyout you need to make the right hire.

They may have been better off letting Miles ride it out until end of year.

If it is O, I think he would be told to go find you an offensive coordinator.

Without a doubt especially after last weekend.

Hearing someone already on staff not named O has a legit shot
