This is the same personnel Chavis is using. Harry Coleman and Francois are/were DB's who play as LB's.

I'm not sure what his formula is but it works. It works against spread O's, options (e.g., Air Force), Boise, etc.
Few coaching hires are ever risk-free but I would love to see him take our talent on D against the likes of Cam/Auburn, Oregon, Masoli/OM, Petrino/Arky . . .

at a program like LSU it doesn't matter that much because it recruits itself. Plus the asst coaches do the majority of the recruiting.
