What's the big deal about O?

All of you on here posting about how great he will be are the same ones that ridiculed Ole Miss for hiring him. I know position coach is not the same as head coach but come on. Yes, he recruited well at USC but while Baton Rouge might be in LA it is not L.A.
Where do the Saints stand? For all of the offense that the Saints had this year they had to come back in sooooo many games because the D didn't do their job. If he comes I hope he does what ya'll think he can do, but I'm just not on his bandwagon. Who would I like to see hired; I don't know. But I don't think he is the end all be all that it seems most on this board think. I'll hang up and listen.

coach o is a defensive guy who is good with the defense, particularly the defensive line.

Go to L -- This is good post and one of few logical questions on this board that the wolf pack followers will jump on you. I think O could be a decent DL coach with some good recruting skills. Shouldn't over pay, however. I am amazed how he is being lionized as a savior. His defense at OM sucked, and anyone who wants to brag about the outstanding DL play of our beloved Saints this year which NEVER made a clutch defensive play all year to win a game, please go a head and point out how he transformed the Saints DL this year.

Thanks for the back up Sug-B. The best response so far is "ace recruiter"; like I said this is BR,LA not L.A., CA. Yes he is home cooking; but mama's red beans and rice don't always have the right spice. The question I haven't seen, granted I don't live here (on the board), will his personality conflict with that of Les?
