Alleva aint it.....can't even sell those damn windows in the stadium.
I have no faith in JA to go out and find a great coach for LSU.
Really missing Skip right now.....he could "sell it" to Miles to stay.

Well - Skip couldn't "sell it" to Saban when he had the stare down during the Miami discussion.
Skip's ego even got in the way despite his public acknowledgement that Saban was the best coach he had seen in any sport.

Alleva is a spineless moron, but his greatest strength (I realize this sounds weird, but it may be the case for the Miles negotiations) is that he is an even bigger pushover.
When anyone in power tells him what to do (Coach K, Bob Steele, etc), he follows orders better than a golden retriever that just finished obedience school. I highly doubt LSU will lose Miles because of money.

Nothing at LSU. Everything he has done at Duke, from hiring friends with losing records at UNC-Greensboro with alcohol problems to coach an ACC team and run them into the ground, horrible football hires for a decade until Cutcliffe, the entire mishandling of the lacrosse case, and months after chastising a bunch of 19-year old kids for underage drinking, his boat crashes and one of his kids take the rap for being under the influence while boating (or whatever they call it).
He is a hypocrite with no spine, and I was very disappointed when LSU hired him.

Hired a basketball coach that has a suck arse team in year 3 when good football coaches can turn around a team in 2 years.
