Maybe Miles had aspirations of being a head coach and didn't see that happening sticking around. How many of those assistans are head coaches now? I don't know just, a question. Looks like Carr is afraid that Miles will get the love of the fans and do a better job than him. This is a reason a retiring coach should never be able to pick his replacement.

Miles also voted for Florida over Michigan last year in the final coaches poll afetr the SECCG.

I think Miles will bow out soon, and Big M will lose out...
