What is Austin Thomas' role in all this?

As a GM does he help Scott on the search for coaches or is he a guy that focuses on the recruits and roster management?

I think Jordy said on his show last night that Austin’s job is to recruit and keep players committed to LSU. Apparently, SW put him in place to take care of this.
