I agree. The decision was made. It's time everyone put their feelings aside and support the university.

Again, our relative lack of support for Miles didn't seem to hurt recruiting. I think you just want some sort of kumbaya consensus for some reason. It's not going to happen.

He has already elevated the program without having a chance to implement a new offense...the way we played last 2 months should make fans optimistic

Yes the 125 yards against Alabama makes me very optimistic.

You're an idiot if you think what the fans say has anything to do with winning/losing.

Next year at this time if O is a failure, the board will be open to call for his head.

This is also bullshite and you know it. LSU loses 4-5 games, you will be one of the ones bashing people and making excuse after excuse.

LSU had a top 3 recruiting class last year that hero Cajun was apart of.

He should get 3 years to get to Atlanta. No fricking excuses. I don't give a frick about shitty coordinators, players, etc. You defending a guy who has never been a coordinator and we have to depend on every hire to be successful. You get what you pay for.

No fricking excuses.

3 years.

We are just talking. It's a message board. People are allowed to have a wide variety of opinions. People are understandably frustrated by the lack of vision by Alleva. It's okay to let them vent. There is nothing to accomplish. Gaining kumbaya consensus doesn't accomplish a thing either, does it? You are overstating the importance of fan opinion.

I honestly don't give a shite about perception. I think O was a terrible choice, and I think I will be proved right. It doesn't mean I want LSU to lose games though.

Look at my post history. I am not a pumper and wanted Les fired after 21-0 in the natty.

I say we let O get a year in before the sky is falling and we are all acting like it's doomsday.

Miles sucked arse and averaged 10 wins.

Being tied in the 4th doesn't make you feel any better? Do you really believe an offense can be drastically changed 5 games into the season AND that they have enough time during game weeks to implement a new offense?

It's fine to feel that way but these shitty repetitive threads about how much we're going to suck is ridiculous considering he should've went 6-1 this year as interim.

frick no. The last two times they were in BR we were leading them in the fourth. Why would I be happy that we played them to a draw?

Would you call slow developing play action passes against that team? How is it that BH could throw the ball deep against Bama last year, and we couldn't complete the simplest of passes this year.

I have no confidence that O will ever be able to beat Bama, especially if he doesn't have a sterling DC with him.

It happened today dude. What do you expect people to do? Actually get excited about this hire? People understand that we've hired a coach whose resume doesn't justify this job. People need time to get over things. I mean, it literally happened today. I can't emphasize that your bitching about people bitching the day a major event happened. The oddball here is you.

No but maybe it'll help us get a real head coach not a D line coach or the best of the interim coaches.

Sorry, I can't turn my brain off and pretend that someone with O's background is magically going to be the Saban killer.

There were multiple hires who I could have imagined had the expertise to do beat Saban and the elite of CFB. O doesn't and I've seen no evidence that he will ever acquire it.

Hopefully the firing of Alleva since the man apparently LSU listens to fans more than do what is best for the program. fricking emotional hires is as ignorant as it gets

You should be happy that a team that was fricking 2-2 and playing like shite played Bama tougher than anyone. I think Saban is the greatest coach in CFB history and he was only able to put 10 pts on us and the TS was aided by holds on 2 huge plays

When it was tied at half I think our coaches got more conservative offensiveky. Did you not see outlet right tackle get pancaked by their D tackle...the online was horrible. My biggest problem was not getting Guice more touches

"he was right"

Seems I recall you being a "whiny" little something more than a few times in the past.

I will support the pick, but not the process.

The process was flawed as was Joe's logic. IMO

Right, we're guaranteed 2 losses minimum every year, that's going to win LOTS of championships.

You know this is college football and not the NFL, right?
