since we didn't get Harbaugh we should go after Patterson at TCU.

IDK, but I don't get an easy feeling about any of this. My gut tells me that if they were gonna go with Hoke, they'd have announced it by now.

It would be a PR nightmare if they announced Hoke without at least talking to Miles. Their fans are very hard on the pizza man and looking for reasons to be mad. If they at least show that they made a push for a successful BCSNC coach, they can then fall back to Hoke.

eh. yes and no. I'd rather have Miles. Lot of people on the various boards though still site shite from 20 years ago that hasn't even been confirmed, and now the ESPN show about him oversigning and cutting players as reasons why we shouldn't hire him. He's proven, he gives us the best chance to win, but he apparently has to be holier than a saint.

I believe it. It just aggravates me that stuff like this is really a benchmark for fans. No one is perfect. There probably isn't a single coach out there that hasn't done something sketchy in some way. I love my school and I hate to put it down, but if I'm being realistic, our prestige is fading, yet some fans still think we are a program that people would crawl over glass to come to. When Brady Hoke is the only name you keep hearing as the freaking frontrunner, the prestige seems to have faded a bit. At this point, if Miles comes we'd be lucky someone with his resume was willing to.
