We're about to get a case study in collegiate athletic PR regardless w/ whoever they hire.

After the boondoggle of this weekend, this hire will attract intense scrutiny on both a local and national level.
1. Perceived elite hire wipes away all tears. All is forgotten and helps write the book how to handle a search with intense speculation and interest. National because of Orgeron being let go and fans wanting to see a worthy hire.
2. If its perceived as a middle road or underwhelming hire, how they navigate the critical eyes of their boosters, fans, etc. How they sell it publicly will be interesting because its one mans decision, not a committee how LSU does everything else at the university.
I look forward to seeing the LSU PR Machine kick in once again. Under Alleva, the approach was lockout and blockout. We'll see what Woodard does if there is indeed criticism.

Maybe there was no boondoggle this weekend? The Riley-LSU was all smoke that all parties benefitted from.
