We finish the season losing our last regular season game thus ruining our national championship dreams. Then BP and probably LM jump ship.

Not really. Being No. 1 and losing at home to an unranked team in the last regular season game pretty much tops all losses for me.

Then you must not have been around in the early 90s when we were losing to poor mid-majors. I'll take the loss to Arky, the likely season ending top 10 ranking, possible SEC and Sugar Bowl titles over what went on in those years every day of the week and twice on Saturday.

I see your point, but back then you didn't have the expectations you do now. We now expect to finish in the top 10 and possibly with an SEC title (and all that entitles us to), but this year we had a legitimate shot at the NC, and couldn't get it done. I've been a fan for over 40 years, and this is one of the toughest and hardest loses to shakeoff that I can remember.

My expectations were set pretty low in the 90s, and they didn't have far to fall when we didn't meet them.

Arkansas had the lead in the 4th quarter of every game this year except Tennessee. They easily could be 11-1 this year.

Regardless, LSU should have won Friday, I'll grant you that. Very disappointing.
