I think it is a good hire and Arkansas will be sound and fundamental down the road, but it is still a weird hire considering he's a Big Ten lifer.

Arkansas was only one of two teams that can't beat Bielema in a bowl. I guess the figure if you can't beat him, join him.

Look at the top coaches in college football, where they've come from and coached. You'll notice a trend that includes Ohio a ton and the midwest a lot.

I actually think its a decent hire, but Im not sure how this is going to help recruiting.
Either way, I'd actually be pretty happy right now the hire, but I would also be slightly concerned. You certainly could have done worse.
