If Woodward screws up this hire and LSU is searching for another head coach in four years, that next head coach will not be hired by Woodward because he will no longer be LSU's AD.

I don’t agree with this statement. A coach like Jimbo that can recruit, develop and coach is more than above average.

Based on your level of intelligence, I have to pretend I’m talking to one. Aranda is going to be a home run hire, whether it’s at USC, LSU or somewhere else. You’re probably clueless as to how many head coaching vacancies there’ll be this year. There will be a bunch. LSU needs to get theirs before everyone else begins raises the stakes.
