If Petrino coached LSU, Saban would own Louisiana in recruiting. A&M would do well too.

You serious? Petrino is a douche bag and does not deserve to be the face of an elite program. He left Arky in shambles and could be seen douching it up on the field as recently as a week ago against Kentucky. He was on the field arguing with Stoops and company.

If Les is gone this is the kind of hire I expect out of Alleva. I'm surprised more of the anti-miles morons don't recognize this.

Ditto

After all, Saban did handpick him as his successor.

When Saban left, LSU officials met with Petrino in Memphis to discuss the opening. The talk then was Bertman and Co. didn't like Petrino and Petrino didn't like them......

This is correct

Alleva, the bean counter, will send LSU back to the 90's (Football wise)

I would rather John L Smith than Pellini. He would bring less embarrassment and represent the university better than Pellini.

The people that yearn for Pellini as head coach of LSU have completely lost their minds.

Although Saban might come across as smug, he is professional, appears to have some class, & doesn't reek of sleazy asshat-ness as BP does, which is an accurate representation. Petrino doesn't care to hide his slimeball wannabe thuggery from anyone - potential recruits, their parents, ADs, or even the national media & audience, as was evident before the UL/UK game when he decided to join in the pre-game brawl festivities by attempting to fight some UK coach. Typical behavior for him. So, for parents of recruits, Saban is infinitely > Petrino ... Not even close.
