since when did he become somebody we "had" to have? there are plenty of good dl coaches out there. he is definitely not any kind of savior. 2 years ago he was a feakin laughing stock and now he is in such high demand? i just don't get it.

Being a head coach isn't the same as being a D-Line coach.

I don't see the infatuation with him either.

so what you are saying instead of actually replying with something coherent is that i'm obviously unintelligent because i have not posted on this board 12,000 times? so by mindlessly manning the computer i would somehow be able to make more insightful, knowledable posts? or if i would have merely typed on the keyboard every time a thought came into my head instead of doing something else, that this post would not be stupid? obviously, i merley stated that "since when did he become someone we had to have". but i guess that makes me a moron. coach o was a joke at ole piss. now we are begging for him. it makes no sense to any thinking person. (this means you). oh and btw you are a stupid head!

there's a reason pete carroll still swears by orgeron to this day. the guy's pedigree speaks for itself.

I agree supa. I don't see the infatuation, and especially for what it is rumored we will pay him, he better make a huge impact.

yes but how how their recruiting fared?

USC used to be able to pull anyone they wanted. Their current class is quickly imploding.

Intelligent reply, instead of being such a smart arse, why don't you give me examples of why he will make such a huge difference vs. haley, brumbaugh, etc.

further evidence that having many thousands of post makes you very intelligent and coherent.

you may be right. i don't follow their recruiting very much but they only lost one game this year and have done pretty well in the last 4 years since yaw yaw left. i don't think their success can be attributed to o. that's all i'm saying. yaw yaw went from a complete parody to the anointed one in a matter of a year. it absolutely mystifies me.

didn't say i didn't wouldn't take him but is he worthy of all the desperate talk that is going on? what in his background makes him worthy of that? i'm just saying it's only the dl he is coaching.

who is being desperate?

he is a great DL coach, and prob an even better recruiter.

people are happy, not desperate

And many USC fans still say their D hasn't been as intense since Ed O left.
