Well he has over a 30 point lead against Texas at half and did nothing but run the ball in 2nd half and lost so I would say no

i was just curious, because it seems everyone wants miles to make a "homerun" hire, but they don't want his hands in it (more or les(no pun)), if he was a bad oc he would of NEVER been offered the head coaching gig at okie state. Period.
So now that we have established that les will have his hands in the offense (which he should), then it only makes sense for him to hire someone that wants the same kind of system and someone he can work with. After all, he does not need the big hire, because he is a offensive guy right? the same standard gets applied to saban and muschamp knowing defense and meyer and kelly knowing offense right?
A "slam dunk" would not be one if he could not work with him.
I will trust he will make the right move, stud and gonzo could really surpise. You never know.

If you ask G Crowton and Jimbo Fisher they would say no. Jimbo Fisher even said his last year at LSU if Miles didn't take the play calling away from him at half time of the Auburn game we would have won the game by 3 TDs

My brother who is a LSU alum and a DR, had a patient who claimed to play for Les at Meeechigan. He asked my bro if he liked CLM. My brother replied that he did not as a coach but figured he was a fine person. The patient went on to say that he knew a lot of LSU fans felt that way but they were Mistaken about Les as a coach. He said that Les was and I quote "an absolute genius when it came to X an O,s especially on offense.
That happened at the beginning of last year. Since then my brothers opinion on CLM has changed. He now thinks Les is a good coach and thus is shown by the ability to win games without QB production. TIFWIW
