It sure seems like O honed in on Freeman and now this is a complete restart of a search. We might not have a DC until February

How does anyone know? Surely they had a plan going in. It happens all the time with hires. You think you have someone and in the back of your mind because they didn’t chose you, you have to have a plan. It’s part of running a business. Woodward isn’t that stupid.

I doubt anyone here could answer that honestly. Realistically, while Freeman might have been the guy O wanted most there is no telling what kind of conversations took place behind the scenes with other people.

No they vetted multiple people prior to bringing in freeman first. They are already setting up interviews for next week. Get a grip

They dropped the ball on this one. Coach O better hope he gets somebody who works out, because if he screws this up and has a repeat we'll be firing this board up once again next season.
