Elko- would hire in a heartbeat if he were able to be pulled. He did a great job at ND and has made aTm’s defense respectable with Bumblin’s former recruits. Were I AD I’d pull out the sack of cash and make him say no.
Steele- one of his reasons for going back to AU (after leaving LSU after one year) was state pension. Doubt he is interested plus we had the 2015 season with him (in which he was CEO’s boss).
LOL at aggies weighing in on this— every championship team has assistants poached. None of these mouthbreathers have experienced assistants leaving without a booster writing a buyout check.
When you have a championship in CFB that is played on TV we in TigerLand will give a flying frick about your opinions on “destination coaching”
