No program is going to hire a coach until after the last game of the regular season.Some will have to wait until after the playoffs.Why are people getting their panties in a wad.LSU has gotten their feelers out and the coaches who they are interested in know it.You aren’t going to hear anything definite until he’s on the podium.

Verge as AD will slowly scuttle what's left of this shadow of what we had as a sports program at LSU. I give it two years at most. Mark my words.

I have a similar outlook. We will see what the ultimate impact ends up being, but it’s blatantly absurd to put a program like LSU under the direction of a guy with the experience, history, and ability of Verge.
