A friend that went to FLA texted me and said that rumors are swirling in Gainseville that CUM will be taking the Broncos job. No link yet.

Cue the tebow-meyer kissing pics.

The amount of hours NFL Head Coaches work makes college coaching look part-time.

These guys sleep like 4 hours a night for months and have bedrooms and showers connected to their offices sometimes.

No chance.

Not true. College coaches put in lots more time when you figure on recruiting, kissing up to booster groups and trying to keep the players elegible

I hope this was an attempt at being funny/smart arse. Pro coaches spend a lot more time at work than college.

IMO, this is just some BS that a fan made up as "fact" they know from hearing it from a "reliable source".

Not even remotely true. NFL Head Coaches outwork college coaches by a lot.

Somewhere in the world, Pete Carroll is laughing at this thread.

Yes, but they do it at one office. They aren't flying all over the country during the offseason chasing high school kids and begging them to come or going all over the state asking for donations, doing appearances/etc.

College coaches are strung out doing a lot of things that pro coaches just don't have ot do.

In my opinion, with Elway jumping on board now ( ), we will either go after Kubiak or back to his alma mater and try and pry Harbaugh away.

If Jerry does not hire Jason Garrett as HC, Pat Bowlen will snatch him up.

There isn't much difference in the average number of hours of work per year between an NFL head coach and a Division 1 college football head coach.

Film study, practice, meetings are a wash. In college you have recruiting and more PR. In the NFL you have personnel meetings with management and draft prep.

Yessir. I think Kubiak will be the next Denver coach.
