Baldwin didn't do near enough to keep his job under any objective analysis. BUT he also inherited zilch...the program was at its lowest ebb, probably ever. Forget FCS, they weren't far removed from losing at home to a Division 2 team. And they had the benefit of a NFL wideout while losing said game.

The Grambling coach is coming to Cajun Country....Great hire, great coach, great city, great university, and great football program...And last, but not least, the greatest people.....

The old softball coach overstepped his boundaries when he was poking a female strength and conditioning coach while telling her she's nothing but a token hire since she was a woman. There were also numerous allegations of constant verbal abuse with a few of the players. The university had no choice but to cut ties to avoid a potential lawsuit. Most of the fans are on board with the firing and new coach. It's just the few loud softball supporters still sour about the situation.

When Scott was in High School, I didn't think he quite had the metrics for Division 1 college ball. I still feel that way. I want Brennan.

I am willing to bet ULL haven't and won't reach out to Fobbs. Someone needs to call Fobbs and gage his interest in the job. I said it would be a lateral move and some are upset but yet these are the same ones who compared the ULL program to LSU. Some even had the nerve to think ULL were better than LSU when LSU were down.

UL should hire Chip Lindsay from Auburn...he interviewed at South Alabama and hell, UL is a lot better job than that...
