Yes, seems very quick. Makes me think Meyer was expecting something like this and had a list of replacements already in the top desk drawer.

I feel confident Meyer is demoting their OC and going with someone else, and BG was not the choice; therefore, he knew it would probably piss Gonzales off and there was a good chance he would leave.
