I don’t really mind Bo if that’s who O wants, but you are ignorant. Reeves’ defenses set records since he’s been at UAB. He’s a future superstar.

I agree that i'd rather an up and comer than a literal retread, but I guess if we're going to retread someone we could do a lot worse than Bo. It is what it is.

He’s been discussed a few times on this board. I don’t think he’s ever coached on the P5 level. I’m not knocking his abilities or qualifications, but coaching is all about connections.
David Reeves might not get a P5 coordinator job until Bill Clark gets a head coaching opportunity at that level, and he follows him to a bigger school.
Reeves might get the UAB HC job if Bill Clark leaves.
Aranda’s path to major conference football was similar. He had to follow Dave Anderson to Wisconsin, then he’s suddenly one of the most respected DCs in the country, and HC of a Power 5 team within a few years.

How much of UAB's defense is Bill Clark and how much is David Reeves? Clark has had great defenses everywhere he's been.
