Looks as if Tolbert has just arrive in Baton Rouge and is interviewing with Miles today.

WRs

Why not? He's in the same position Brick Haley was in when he came to LSU, except Tolbert is an alumnus!

I think he is a good WR coach, even with bad QB play his receivers on the Bills seem to play well. Would bring a lot of NFL experience. He is a former LSU player and from Texas. I do NOT know if he would leave the NFL for college, but I think it would be worth a shot.

Agreed. IDK what he would do in recruiting but I would assume McCarthy is better (all the *bullshite* aside ) but there comes a point where COACHING is better than RECRUITING and I think we have reached that point.

lateral move

Don't know if he'd take a lateral move or not. But it may be to get to an OC, etc pos he's got to take a different path than one he's on.

Dude, Tyke Tolbert is a stud recruiter. He didn't want to get that label that a lot of young black coaches get as just a recruiter, so he went to the NFL to polish up his coaching bonifides.

The fact that he is a Tiger, is a bonus. This guy is awesome. I will be extremely happy if this happens.
