Two Questions Regarding Mullen

1. Do we know for a fact that he turned down Florida? I keep reading this, but only on this board and not anywhere more reliable.
2. Separate from whether we need a coach or want Mullen if we do, how much of a complication, either legally or public image, would Mullen's new contract be if offered by LSU. Simply put, can he and would he come if offered?

Mullen is an excellent coach but their is no way he leaves MSU. How about the other coordinator off the Florida championship staff, Charlie Strong?

LSU is not hiring a coordinator

all depends on what lsu brings to the table. You are going to have to have a sweet deal to get the big dogs.
or settle for rodriquez or tubervile/leech.

offer mullen 4 million and make him say no.
and to the OP there is no better source then TD j/j there is nothing but speculation that he turned down UF.
and i dunno if he would come but make him say no. heard his wife really likes the small town and doesnt want to goto a bigger city until the kids are grown but thats from MSU people.

Only one coach was and accepted the job at Fla. Mullen would not leave State to come to LSU.......

I want to point out that (in general) a new contract is announced as soon as the major details are agreed upon, but it usually takes a number of months before it is drawn up and actually signed.
