Has anyone seen a HC hire so far that they wouldn't trade O for straight up?

Jeff Tedford- I might kick the tires on him
Butch Davis-why not?

So I think we can all agree that O is probably a better hire than Indiana's Tom Allen. Yippee.

I thought it was hurried, not necessarily bad, time will tell if it is a bad decision or not.

So because you didn't get a homerun hire in Fisher or Herman, you hire a guy with a resume of failure as an actual non-interim head coach and no side of the ball he can influence outside of a specific position set?

Hmmmm.... I don't know, why not just hire an up and comer with tons of potential instead of the failure that is O simply because he went 4-2 with an embarrassing loss and beating no team with no less than 4 losses?

LSU should have taken the risk at this point, but instead they settled for almost assured failure.
