One of the finest, sweetest girls in my junior class had this occur. Most guys assumed she was already taken, so they never asked her. Did most coaches assume LSU already had their guy?

Wouldn't you want to a hire a coach who is still playing for something at this point, not the coach who lost their rivalry game and their conference? Shouldn't we be hoping the search is taking longer because of the caliber of coach, recruiting deadlines aside?
