It would be very hard to turn down a 3+ mil dollar raise by going to another job. Even people who love the job their in wouldn't turn this down.

Would a promise from Bama that Harvey Updyke won't ever kill him and/or his entire family count as a bid?

LSU offered 51% of Shadys and he said no, what makes you think he's gonna bite on 1% of LHN. Psshhhh!

Brother, there is no way that Bama can match The University of TEXAS when it comes to money. I mean absolutelly no way. They could get ever Bama alumni to throw in a thousand dollars to boot and TEXAS will still out money them.

I'm actually pretty disappointed in Alabama's counter offer. Almost a slap in the face.

As competitive as Nick is, you have to wonder what went through his mind when Sexton called him with Bamas "counter"

I just love how this thread is gonna backfire.
Still funny as hell regardless of outcome.

Texas giddy, Bama reeling. Sexton and Saban get richer either way.

You edited this post and STILL didn't get it right.

You need to take a break.

Texas is also throwing in 1% of the Longhorn Network (projected worth in the billions)
That is some Enron-type accounting right there.
