2A/B Chad Morris/ Mike Gundy
any of those 3 and it will be a successful hire.
Should know something in the next 3 weeks, I don't think we wait until January to make a hire in my opinion.
Should shape up to finish the year strong.. Wins over Florida and TAMU might get us into the sugar bowl. O would have done a great job for the interim process and then goes back to being RC and Associate head coach. (pipe dream I know) Keeping Aranda is the top priority in the hiring process I believe..
Gonna be fun next three weeks.. could be a lot of movement this year.

New top three for your own personal preference? Or, what you know/think is the top three for our administration and Joe Alleva?

top preference, its who I would be looking at if I were the AD..
Talked to my buddy, he works for Parker executive search firm in Atlanta.. says its his top three as well.. he thinks there is already a deal with Jimbo on the table.. some other poster posted that earlier too.. cant remember the name..

I don't want that offensive style at LSU. There is no way you can field a top notch defense with that type of offense.

2)James Franklin (I think he'd be a rock star at lsu. SEC ties, Successful at two programs, young, energetic, recruiter, has knack for hiring good assistants)
3) Tom Herman
4) PJ Fleck
5) Ogeron (if you can't get the top four, to you are reaching, if you are going to reach, might as well get a known recruiter that may or may not have improved. He does have the contact to hire a quality staff)
All of these guys are strong recruiters. Most important aspect of a program. If "I" was hiring, it would be Franklin. However, based on the skins on the wall, Jimbo has the edge.

I live with that source till my house gets built, i talk to him all the time... he keeps saying its herman, like ive said 100 times, he is that guy that is just always right and he knows tons of people.. He played MLB baseball for 10+ years.. I just have my gut feeling now that he is wrong and that the dynamics have changed since Herman started losing..
My old college teammate works for that firm.. He says those three are THEIR top three.. LSU has not hired them.. all i know
