This is child's play here...I don't listen to these cats like you guys do...believe what you want.... I heard one of the guys say "if Miles takes the job" repeatedly that evening...that's what I remember the most.

I remember people on TD saying that TK's source was TD and they were making fun of him...so I just took it all in with a grain of salt

I was hooked into believing Miles wanted the UM job just like 85% of the people here... Let it go..

At least you guys get to listen to Tiger sports (football) and listen to callers...I get ACC basketball 24/7...have some compassion for me

i listened to the first 15 minutes of his show (i just can't listen to too much of that shite) and he handled it about as best he could ... just said he got it wrong and that his sources were wrong and that ott, landry, and rantz had nothing to do with it .. he said he was on his own with it ... really tried to sweep it under the rug and move on, so to speak ... had miles left, though, dude would've been crowing for an hour about how he got it right, how wonderful his sources are and how solid he has been in his 20 years as a big time sports journalist .. so, even though dude handled it better than i thought he would without covering his arse today .. i can't help but wonder how he would have handled it had he been somewhat right ..

To be honest, I somt care how he handled it today because he still had absolutely no source.

How do I know this? Because what he said four days ago was no where near accurate.

Miles may hav never even been offered the job and pelini was certainly never offered the lsu job.

His source wasn't wrong because there was no source. He simply ran with message board fodder or a completely unsubstantiated rumor.

yeah .. I gotta give TK credit for taking the absolute best road he could .. he may survive this based on not trying to cover his for 3 days ... I agree with T4E .. I think messageboards, including this one, were his "sources" ... he can now say he and his imaginary sources missed it and skate away at this point .. kudos to him for his exit strategy ...

agree with you 150% on Landry .. haven't listened to him in ages .. almost died of sugar shock ..
