You cant just fire a dude that gets 10 wins every season. Even despite losing to OSU every year.

People keep saying losing to Bama is what got Les fired. That certainly didnt help, but it was his teams giving up on the season afterwards that really got him in hot water. They lost to shitty Arkansas and Ole Miss teams and they looked listless and uncompetitive in those games after losing to Bama. THAT was what did Miles in.

not to derail the abortion of a football team that michigan throws on the field every year versus ohio state, but it was the way lsu lost to bama every year. run left, run right, punt

hope the defense will save us, too bad if it cant. never steer the gameplan. and then throw in the towel and blame those losses on the bama game (well, the fans did anyway)

coach o figured out he had to change after one of the most embarrassing losses ever, at home, to bama in 2018. had he not changed he would be done as well this year

Oh yes you can...especially at a school like Michigan!!! Ohio State did just that when they fired John Cooper. He was winning 10/11 games a season, but was losing to average Michigan teams every year. Ohio St fired him and brought in Jim Tressel and the rest is history!

Not sure where you are getting top 15 in offense stat from.

Michigan finished 38th in scoring offense and 68th in total offense.

It was this, and his many broken promises on fixing the offense. Early 2016 was the final straw. Plus, he was headed for a losing season that year the way the team looked vs Wisky and Auburn. The offense completely checked out on him and Cam.

There was definite improvement on offense as year went on
