to defecate or get off the pot. It's honorable he wants to do right by the current staff, and it's his decision, and he wants to pick the right guy for DC, but, the longer he waits, the longer the pool of available coaches will dwindle. If he really wants Chavis, he needs to hire him before someone else does.

Bingo. This is big business and Miles needs to realize that HC's in major programs are betting their own futures when they show too much loyalty to assistants. Maybe he's pissing around because he already has a hire in mind but that person is still coaching. Who knows.

I'm pretty sure Les will do the right thing...Just look at how he had this team getting a little better each game this season, by letting the poor coaching, lack of discipline & lack of effort continue, by doing absolutely nothing about it.

The more our fans get their panties in a wad. Keeping waiting Miles.

Seriously, Miles has more of a vested interest in making the right decision that any fan. None of us will lose $3.5 mil a year by making a wrong decision.

Relax.

He surely does. Miles job is on the line with this hire. The powers that be will not let this slide too far.

If patience is a virtue, this board has very little virtue. Relax and have a drink, valium, meditate or whatever you do. Maybe the deal is already done and everyone is getting all waded up over nothing.

Yes, the longer he waits the smaller the pool of current free agents, but the longer he waits (to a point) the pool of available coaches increases. Most qualified candidates currently have a job because their team is in a bowl game or they are in the NFL.

Les Miles said yesterday he would name his new d cordinator when TD reaches 2000 threads asking when the new DC will be announced.

So keep em coming

Relax guys. It's going to happen. There is still potential for more candidates to come available. Also perhaps you would rather Miles stop recruiting all together or stop game planning to make rantards happy.

Point is Miles is working on IT and it will happen on IT'S timeframe.

Well it appears Koenning is off the market. Chavis may be scooped up by Clemson. Robinson may want some time off as he indicated. Miles waiting so long (or again helping his buddies get a bowl bonus) may cost us the chance to get the best available DC. Make a decision already.

yeah. Barack Obama will have his whole cabinet filled out before Miles hires a DC .

And I think Miles should have known he was going to have to make this move before Obama was e lected president.

I can see if these guys did good things with LSU, but they haven't done shite, they need to go, and Miles needs to make a statement.

You're right, I'm sure Les is just going to let them go to another school if he's at all interested. You need to go have a bleach martini.
