And tactics.

Assuming his energy levels remain high, Kelly could build a dominant team.

Is saying, “maybe my defensive players should have been executed” after a tough W against and even tougher FSU team considered smart? How do you think that will go over with our players? shite, we have parents threatening to jerk a player for what a message board says about his son’s effort.

Taking on LSU will be a massive cultural mountain to climb for Kelly. We as fans are now along for the ride. He has a lot of work to do, good thing he’s young and full of….oh wait. It took him a long time to get ND close to being respectable. You think LSU fans will wait that long?

I suspect he is going to instill a much tougher, more disciplined culture than what we witnessed with either O or Miles. He's unforgiving and demanding. I don't mind it. Saban had to adapt to southern culture as well. Keep in mind that Kelly recruited all over the country for ND.

This is the first time since I've been a fan where I can be proud of LSU's administration, prior to this hire, it's been such a display of incompetence

First time I feel like our coach will be able to effectively adapt without instruction from a coordinator.

He looked really smart when his LB was on TV talking about a fake dead girlfriend or when he put that member of the film crew in a tower during 50+ mph wind gusts...

You mean the two coaches who won a National Championship? With a such a massive cultural change the curve to success will span seasons, as in more than 4. Not to mention coordinator and position coaches jostling, look at the last two head coaching changes for an example. This is going to take a lot more money than what we’ve paid out already. Can we as a fan base trust that Kelly will have the endurance to make these changes?
