Who needs to rebuild? We are fricking loaded on defense and skill positions

The roster has already been destroyed and transfer pool season hasn't even started earnest. You don't see all those walk-ons playing?

You;re looking at a rebuild.

Lincoln is Kellys younger Alter. Kelly finally grew nuts to face SEC opponents on the reg.

He's eligible for SS in 22 months, the problem is... he looks like he 70-75 easy.

That's not a young 60, that's an old dude.

You start a major rebuild in the SEC at 60, the situation is completely different. Come on man.

The negative being that he's too far along in his career to make the changes he may need to make to be competitive in the SEC.

Yeah because Saban is running the same offense he was in 2011.

Has been beaten down by teams from the south in the national championship/playoffs.

He’s not a bad coach, I’m just not sure he’s a coach who can take LSU to the place y’all want it to be.

Well it doesn't exactly put fear in the rest of the SEC. if anything they all let out a sigh of relief.

He is Jimbo 2.0. Coached at an inferior school with mostly weak schedules. I expect 3 or 4 losses a year out of him.

It's a safe hire. One I wasn't expecting. He should do well here.

Saban says hi. He literally did the same thing with Kiffin and his offenses turned into juggernauts.

Not a great recruiter and it’s a Jimbo Fisher type meh hire. I’m sure we paid top dollar to get him here. Oh well. It’s better than what just left.

Pro-style offense would be the main negative I can think of, but sometimes you should zag when everyone else is zigging. Otherwise I got nothing, very good hire.

So you shite on the young up and coming Napier bc he isn’t versed enough now you shite on the older coach bc he may be stuck in his ways. Get a fricking life.

What are his big wins as a coach? Do you think he will be able to recruit top talent? Do you think he’ll be able to compete with Alabama? Do you think he’s run a good offense over his tenure? I have serious concerns about each.

The same people criticizing Kelly for not winning big games at ND were slobbering all over themselves about the prospect of landing Riley, who is 0-3 in the CFP. Since 2017, Riley won one bowl game.
