Coach O

The thread is 15 Pages long

They really really want Coach O! I mean really want him. (maybe more than us?, nah!)

The one thing that sticks out to me is this!

Vol Fans believe the only way Coach O chooses LSU is if he is picked as the DC,,but the rumors they hear is that it's either Chavis or Walker as LSU next DC. By their thinking that leaves Coach O to either stay with the Saints or Come to Knoxville at DL and DC in waiting after Monte leaves

Getting Chavis and O is pretty amazing. Or Walker! I think they would be shocked if Miles pulled it off.. No one on their board considered it a possibility of O taking a job with LSU not named DC

Apparently Coach O reputation as a DL coach is pretty stout..

Miles making Coach O DL some other titles and cash is smart move!

And Coach O likes LSU, lives in the area already that is a built in advantage to landing him also

Just thought you might enjoy their comments

I was actually against chavis bc of the soft zone talk, but i just rewatched the alabama vs Tenn. game and he was actually pretty aggressive.

Vol fans love Chavis

they say that he didn't have the front 7 personal the last few years to be aggressive

I wasn't a fan of him at all but after watching that game, he really mixed it up alot with different looks and came after the qb when he needed to. The front 4 was their weakest link this year. The D-line does a lot of stunting and the defense looks pretty well coached overall. They have a few Tenn. games on espn360 if interested.

If we get Chavis and Coach O goes to TENN and Willis is already out there might be a meltdown on the rant

He's the stunt master.

Also if you google him, there's a blog about how he could be considered the Norm Chow of defense. Basically it entailed how he completely changed him scheme a couple of years ago to fit the skills of his personnel. This is the "mustang" package that everyone around here seems to despise. Basically the idea is that he didn't have the horses he used to up front, so he adjusted the scheme accordingly for the back 7 and apparently it worked quite well for some time...

John Abraham had more sacks than the entire Saints D-Line.

Just had a crazy thought about Payton, even though I know it won't happen EVER, what if he does get fired and Kiffin brings him in with Coach O?? I know it sounds ludicrous and all, but stranger things have happened.

Nice pics, but I kept looking for the slot machines in the locker room. Place looks like a Vegas pit.

I like the big T on the ceiling in the locker room

Nice design / concept for the entire thing

The SEC is amazing isn't it? Spend money like crazy trying to keep up with the Jones'

Nice looking renovations, but the striping on the floors looks garish.
