The way I see it the LSU administration is doing it right

I would hope they've learned something from last year.

They'll know Friday for sure whether Herman is playing them for leverage with Texas. If he is then they'll go back to Jimbo and give in to his demands.

Jimbo will probably counter again.

What I think is weird in all thus is that FSU never comes out and announces they are negotiating a contract extension and raise to keep Jimbo. Not last year, not this year.

As a fan, LSU is over due for something great to happen.

It has been reported that they are indeed looking at contract talks.
