All I said was that there were no active talks with any potential candidates. I didn't say they were sitting around with their thumbs up their asses.

The original post is the closest I've read to the truth.
A few little things to back it up...
1)LSU is now close to getting a new deal for Miles
2)There is no offer and still no contact with Miles
3)Bertman has talked to Sexton (about what I don't know but I know there is no deal with anyone else or numbers has not been talked to with anyone else because they are ALL TRYING to keep Miles)
I originally said 60% stay 40% leave, I'm uping that now to 75% stay 25% go

Let me add that my guy said Miles REALLY like it here and that it would be a tough choice for him. Bottom line, however, is that LSU will try VERY HARD to keep him. I know that will disappoint most of you. (And probably me, too)

shrevetiger....I know my source is good, and I back you up. One small thing...You say the board things he will accept if Michigan offers thats not necesarrily true. Michigan will offer, but they may not have the chance because he may get the deal he wants with LSU sooner than you think.

Belowpar, you are right. He said LSU would make a strong effort starting Monday, before UM even gets a chance to do anything.

Simple...Bertman has talked to others to see if there is any interest in case miles leaves, but he's not talking contract numbers with them.
