The guy had LSU’s number for sure
Nutt was 6-7 against LSU. Considering a couple of his teams went to the SEC title game and he had the better team 2 or 3 times (1998 with Arkansas and 2008 with Ole Miss come to mind), I would hardly say he had LSU’s number. LSU beat him four years in a row at one point. LSU’s worst team (1999) beat his ranked team soundly with an interim coach in the last game of the season.
Nutt did a good job at Arkansas and he won at Ole Miss with Orgeron’s players. Once left to his own recruiting, he flopped big time. He’s a one-trick pony and the game passed him by. But I beg Arkansas or Mississippi State to hire him.

Considering that LSU leads the series 40-22-2, and that 12 of the Hogs wins came before 1930, I'd say 6-7 is darn close to having LSU's number at Arkansas. Since Arkansas became a member of the SEC, they are 10-17 against LSU, so Nutt is responsible for 60% of those wins.

Who else was 6-7 vs. LSU during that time frame?
