The next LSU head coach is...

Jimbo Fisher.

A few reasons why :

1. He was pretty locked up last season, until things went south. And that was before Miles was even gone.

2. A couple of "in the know" posters on 247 have said Herman isn't the guy. Which is their code talk for they already have their fish on the line, and it isn't Herman.

3. Skip yesterday speaking of Jimbo saying, "now he would be worth every penny". I believe was a tell.

Unless something falls out with Jimbo, Herman isn't going to be the guy. Personally, I'd rather Herman because of his youth and creativity, but I think we would all be very happy with Jimbo as well.

In the meantime, let's give Coach Eaux a chance!
