I don't know why they would keep him. It's hard to make a case that the program is making any progress under him.

Michigan needs to hire Luke Fickell and start recruiting the state of Ohio. They’d be dumb not to do that immediately if Harbough is gone.

Fickell is an OSU guy. That would be weird. I think Meechigan goes after Campbell from ISU unless they find some guy with Michigan ties.

If Fickell isn’t a top 2 or 3 candidate, Michigan fans should revolt. Forget where he came from. You hire the best you can get. He’s one of the best available, by far.

Pat Fitzgerald is never leaving Northwestern. He's been approached before and turned down.
Because of him Northwestern has that amazing indoor practice facility and other football ops stuff.

That depends on his priorities. Some guys love where they are and what they do and aren’t just interested in the bigger job or more money. They are rare, but guys like Frank Beamer do come along every so often.

Was discussed during the citrus bowl. Said Fitzgerald wants his kids to finish at their respective schools. Said the one job that could open and play perfectly for him would be the Bears.
