The lack of respect for Brian Kelly is crazy

Face it, one of the primary reasons fans are critical of Brian Kelly is because he's a Notre Dame coach. If he was anywhere else with the same record, people would consider this a slam dunk.
The academic and structural limitations at ND are much more challenging which makes what he has done in his time as coach even more impressive. It will be exciting to see what he can do at LSU given the resources and level of talent he's about to come into. Check out his history at Central Michigan and Cincinnati to get a glimpse of where we're going - incredible stuff.
