Again? Because he has done it twice on Saban's watch.

once in saban's first year, and it went down to the last couple minutes of the game.
and then by 3 points in OT in 2011. so les has won the SEC west one time since 2007 and then got smoked in the championship game...

well the downvotes can keep coming. I just don't think Les is going to win the west until saban leaves. Bama is shooting for 5 in a row at tuscaloosa next year. People can deny it all they want to, but the trends aren't reassuring.

Les will never win the SEC west as long as saban is coaching at alabama IMO

It is going to be hard to find a dumber statement that this.

of course they count. but you have to look at it objectively. Les won the west, the SEC, and the championship in 2007 with two losses and a down year for alabama with a first year head coach. LSU barely beat bama both in 2007, 2010, and 2011.

Do you? I mean, do you really? You have been rooting against Miles for so long I don't know if you could ever go back.

With Miles at LSU and the same future HOF coach at Bama, this would be realistic for the next 8 years. And you know what, that wouldn't be an indictment on Miles. This would be a realistic and respectable outcome over the next 8 years.

I have lost faith in his ability to adapt and make quick smart decisions, but can you honestly blame me?

Well let's cancel Saban's in 2008 because it went to overtime with a freshman QB J Lee who threw 5 picks in the game. Let's cancel 2012 because Bama should have lost instead of going 80 yards in 50 seconds. Last but not least let's not count 2014 for the same reason as the previous.

What the fricking frick???

You can criticize Miles for a bunch of things and have a valid argument. You CAN NOT, however, question his recruiting ability. The guy has recruited lights out every year here. You do realize as long as we keep recruiting well, then we will remain a contender.

Are you suggesting that we will have a drop off in recruiting? And why would you think that after you said in your post we have a chance to win the next two years??

So, we have two solid seasons and then just fall off the grid and all of a sudden can't recruit? Visit the recruiting board and take a look at what we already have coming in for the 2016-2017 seasons. We are going to be just fine.

And you are a moron.

I'm with you. Just one West title since 2007 is not impressive. Alabama is trucking along unaffected by graduation or early departures, AU has maybe passed LSU already and Ark is only getting better. The QB situation/offense is as bad as ever and we'll have a new OL next year.
