I don't think Rhule would leave Carolina for a college job unless he hates it, but hypothetically, how would that ever work from a time line perspective? Their last game is the 2nd week of January

Well, the NFL has an extra game now and college football didn't have an early signing period or the transfer portal back then.
Early signing day is mid December and most schools sign most of their recruits that day now. I guess you'd have to hope a decent amount of recruits were coming to LSU regardless or be willing to lose half of the class.
