Coach O will be fired or praised for the next 2 hires!
If we suck and cant tackle goodbye Coach O!
LSU better wake up and go and find the best OC and DC that are out there young up and coming! not old and on there way out!

Mason doesn't have success at anything I can see!
Vandy sucks under everybody's watch because Vandy sucks
just because you get a job doesn't make you qualified ask
Bo Pelini.

The perfect candidate should have 20 years of SEC coordinator experience without a single bad season, while also being 25 years old, and willing to work for us for minimum wage and have zero desire to be a head coach at any point in his career

Shouldn’t be too hard to find

Pelini had tremendous success as DC...13 years ago.

We need a DC who can be effective against today's modern offenses...not the ground and pound from the 2000s.

Or maybe they could at least have some successful piece on their resume over the last 10 years. The head coach already had zero success as a Head Coach. He was hired based on keeping the best Coordinators in the game... Ensminger/ Pelini. Probably not what any other school im America would call the best duo

But can he recruit?

This is basically what we signed up for with a CEO type HC. Live and die by the coordinators. It was one of the main concerns when we settled on O

I agree. That is exactly my point. He has to make damn near perfect hires or he is a fricking useless head coach. Ensminger and Pelini were the laughing stock of the SEC. I challenge anyone to name a single college program (other than LSU) that you believe would hire Ensminger as an OC now.
