You can be on the make since high school, join the right fraternity, marry the right girl, know the right people, but if you can't produce it will hit you between the eyes eventually. That's not how they operate. They didn't get what they wanted so now they're kicking and screaming like a bunch of 3 year olds. There is literally no one that knows much of anything that is going on and they've deemed it a failure. They were fooled by rumors about Riley and are pissed that it wasn't true, but now they're right back to believing rumors that Woodward has failed horribly. Meanwhile, we really don't know if he has a coach locked up or not. It's insanity. If he were to hire someone else surprising or a big splash, they'd go from calling him a piece of shite that should be fired to a genius again. It's just how it works.

Yep.. if Woodward hires Aranda and Tom Herman comes as offensive coordinator then Woodward will be placed back on the pedestal and praised again by the ones wanting to run him out of town..funny how this world works these days on pins and needles
