Do you really not understand why? If that's the case I don't even think Jesus is going to do you much good.

Who is going to be the next defensive coordinator at Texas? You do realize that the job is vacant right now? You are not suggesting that strong become the full-time defensive coordinator, are you?

Those are very pertinent questions because what Texas faces right now is being embarrassed when no coach of substance wants to come to Austin because of the fear of being one and done, like when the offensive coordinator Strong hired (which was a fiasco in itself) to replace his hand-picked coordinator (Watson) who was less than impressive.

Or, they can cut bait and seize the moment by hiring Tom fricking Herman.

Humpty Dumpty can't be put back together, bro.

You're "sure," huh? You ought to go to Vegas, Jimmy the Greek.

There are very few "sure things," but I think Tom Herman is one of them, says Texas the Horn.

You seem to feel the same way, no?

I'm with you.

See you're in Htown, you sensing any warming up to the idea of keeping him? Couple of UT coworkers want to see him win out and stay another year, while 7-5 (another loss) would make it questionable/understandable.

That loss at Cal is looming large if Texas doesn't beat WVU this Saturday. Looming large anyway.

I don't see how Texas fires Strong if he finishes 8-4 on a 5 game winning streak. This seems a logical stance, but a month ago people were saying he was already unofficially gone no matter what.
